Even with a garage it is a terrible “gig.” My friend looked into it. You only get six charger cables. It takes 2 hours to charge a scooter. You only have 8 hours to charge the scooters, 10 PM to 6 AM. Before then, you can pick up ones that are totally drained, but otherwise, you can’t pick them up until after 10. So that means you can only charge 24 scooters (6 scooters every two hours times 4-eight hours periods between 10 and 6). Some scooters might charge in much less time, but guess what? You have to manually unplug one and plug in the next!! And, you have to drive around starting at 10 PM to get them all and have them all back in place by 6AM!!! So unless you want to wake up every 1–2 hours all night long, you are only going to be able to charge 6 scooters, give or take a couple. And you are not going to bed until 11 -midnight, and you have to get up at 5 AM. AND! You are going to need a pickup truck. And you are probably going to need 2 people (each with a juicer account) to make it work. That is the only way to quickly load and unload the scooters. (Plus, you can get 12 charger cables that way). So if you do all that AND have a garage to charge them it MIGHT be worth your time… if your time is worthless.

Every time you ride a scooter for free or $1, know that it is only possible because the scooter companies can’t/won’t actually staff a logistics system with actual employees to do this work. They farm it out to giggers who end up making $3–4/hour. Doesn’t that sound ridiculous and terrible? It is.
